Quartz beads catch mid-fall, caught by silver rings before they ever reach the ground. Each one holds its own dark thread of rutile, scattered like rain streaked sideways by wind.

This handmade chainmail necklace features a collar of interlocking stainless steel rings strung with black rutile quartz beads, clustered along the front in a cascading drop. The quartz shows fine black rutile inclusions running through a clear to milky body. Finished with a lobster clasp, the necklace measures 14" with a 2" extender for adjustable fit.
